Band   Dyer Band Program Calendar of Events 2007 - 2008 Dyer Band Spring Rehearsal Schedule 2008 The Dyer School Band program begins in the 6th grade with the Beginner Band, where students learn the musical skills they need to become members of the Junior High Band.  The 7th and 8th grade Junior High Band learns more advanced musical concepts and participates in several performances throughout the year, such as Murray Quad State Honor Band, UTM Honor Band, Solo & Ensemble, All West Honor Band and the annual Christmas and Teapot Parades.  Both the Beginner and Junior High Bands present a Christmas and Spring Concert each year.  The Dyer Band booster Organization funds uniforms, some instruments, travel and a yearly band banquet for the students.  The band program is under the direction of Mrs. Leah Jean Rollins.
