The Beta Club is a national academic/service organization open to sophomores, juniors and seniors who have an academic grade point average of at least 92. The same exclusions apply for Honor Roll. Gibson County High School attends the Tennessee State Beta Club Convention every year and has produced numerous state officers. During the 2006-2007 school year Lucas Littleton became the State Secretary and then the National Beta Club Secretary. During the 2007-2008 school year Ali Martin became the State Beta Club President. At this time the national election has not been held.
