Biology I
|
A one-credit Gateway course in which tenth grade students enroll.
Biology is a survey of life including the study of cells, interactions of
organisms with their environment, the diversity of life, how organisms adapt
to their environment, cellular processes within plant and animal cells, and
genetic influences among living organisms.

Biology II Honors
|
A course that introduces students to major specialty areas of biology. The
students will explore comparative anatomy and zoology, embryology, genetics,
immunology, microbiology, and botany. Chemistry is a prerequisite for Biology
II Honors. This course is for those students interested in medical careers.
