NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY STATEMENT

The Gibson County School District will sign a Program Participation Agreement at the beginning of each school year which addresses non-discrimination.

It is the policy of the Gibson County School District not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in the determination of meal benefits or meal service.

The following non-discrimination statement will be printed on the materials sent home with the students:

Procedures for handling allegations of discrimination:

The School Nutrition Program will record all verbal and written complaints of discrimination and forward those complaints to the (1) State Agency, (2) USDA, and (3) the Atlanta Office for Civil Rights (OCR) within three (3) days:
